Stripes again; mjölk = milk

Emroidery inspired of milkpackages. When I was sorting the garbage I realised how much milk my family is drinking, (I don´t drink milk at all).
The colors of the stripes signals the different types of milk. The red one is the "Standard" fat milk, the blue one is the "Lightmilk" and the green one is the "Middlemilk". Even if one by another brand of milk the colors often are the same.
I have been working for a while with the milkpackages, and over a year and a half there have been small, sometimes very, very small changes in the layout that I would never seen if I havn´t really been studied them.

And for part two in this "dubble-moly" comes a digital collage made from packages for "Minimjölk"(=minimilk) whith thin yellow stripes and just 0,1 % fat...

Golden knitted star

I am inspired by those knitted stars. But it suits me better to paint them. I found a book with them, which all have names. Here is a small piece of Katinka.

Kitchen sink realism - The entire Moly so far

Have tried match & paste pictures of all the embroidered part of this Moly. It's showing kind of how it looks :)
Click on image for detailed view
I am so inspired of this Moly! It turned out fantastic! Now I will send it to Elizabet. The "Kitchen sink realism-Moly" starts it's second round.

Sometimes I can see birds in there

Sometimes I can see birds in there.
I think about all the importence of "feeding" the artist to be able to give to other people in your life. My art work tend to talk a lot about the struggle to run a life with work, family and being an artist at the same time :) I like the Swedish expression "Kitchen sink realism" -- This is my theme nowadays
The paper-part of this Moly has the programming language Php "sentence", a reminder of what I want...

Hi!
My picture is in Lisas Book now, the one with the alphabet.
Hmm...the big question about life and God. We all learn like the way in the ABC-book.

Saturday morning

Hi moly-friends!
I´m back again, feels good! This is my latest contribution to Elizabet´s book "Silver, guld och spets"("Silver, gold and lace")
It´s about Home as a war zone. The knife, camouflaged with lace, cuts a surface or an existence in two, draw a line between good or bad. Saturday morning: the outbreak of war. /Lisa

backwardness´s effect

I´m continueing with theme: climate
…the word effect made me think of warp effect and put together with climate the result is backwardness`s effect, as a pendang to the technique.

I´m wondering how long is "the delay"…?

Stars and stripes, circles and squares

My position was Lisa´s "Save our Souls". I like the words and the meanings in the sentence.
Souls in trubbel. A prayer, for help. My first idea was flags.
Flags could be a signal for "here we are" "I'm here"

Passing through quiet remains

Dear friends! Here comes a few more letters of my ABC-book. The technique is collage and ink and the theme...well, to be or not to be. The two clocks on the left above the letter P are from a "baby´s first book" from when I was born. My mother filled in the exact time of my birth on the left clockface. The little sun below indicates that I was born in the daytime. The right clockface is emty and can in this context be interpreted as the time of my death, not yet written... /Lisa

Transportation

My new contribution for my moly is what it is.
A tranportation/bridge between Carinas fantastic
"spetskompetens" and Lisas .....?????
Stripes... a road... lines... endless or ending.

I´m fascinated of stripes and right now of pictures
that are "empty". The world is over and over full of
pictures everywhere. My mind needs rest...
...and why not whith the non-colors gold and silver.
